Hi all it has been a long time.  I have missed you, but I have still been saving money.  Christmas came and everyone spent and spent and spent...But, I got the best bargain ever.  I have recently started making cakes.  I love it and I have been making a few extra dollars too.  What does every baker need?  A Kitchenaide Mixer, yep that is correct.  But, wait they are EXPENSIVE!! Yes, they are they range from $199- $999.  So, I waited and watched and waited and watched : ) and finally it happened.  Amazon.com had a 600 series, yes 600 series Kitchenaide suggested retail price $499 on sale for $279. I thought INCREDIBLE, but wait there was a $50 rebate. Wonderful right? Right, but wait FREE shipping..OK now we're talking.  Hold on there is more, during checkout there was a banner about American Express Points...hmmm I have those : ).  That is right, I had $120 dollars worth of American Express points.  Did you do the math:
